Accommodation Cotswolds

The largest area of England and Wales to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the hills and towns of the Cotswolds form an enduring and popular English visitor attraction. This is reflected in the range and availability of accommodation Cotswolds has to offer.

The timeless natural beauty of the hills attracts keen walkers, with the Cotswold Way offering over 100 miles of excellent walking route, largely on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment. Walkers enjoy stunning views over the Severn Valley and Vale of Evesham and the highest point is Cleve Hill, just over 2 miles north of Cheltenham. The Cotswold hills are formed from limestone, and the Cotswold Stone also forms the building material for the charming small towns and villages found throughout.

The towns of the Cotswolds prospered through the wool trade in the middle ages and much of their continued appeal is that many have changed little since, retaining all of their original rustic charm and character.
